Job Summary

The Scheduler works with teams throughout LandSouth to develop construction schedules for multifamily projects across the Southeast. This role facilitates consistency across all jobs by utilizing scheduling and construction management software. The scheduler will work at the project level individually or as part of a team to support the construction operations with recurring schedule updates, milestone tracking, project reporting, and other associated duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the oversight of the scheduling function regionally including software implementation, process improvement, reporting, and communication.
  • Work with project teams to build templates and baseline schedules.
  • Support analysis of the construction schedule, identify schedule variances and provide critical milestone information.
  • Collect, distribute, and update data for progress reports as needed.
  • Gather and assemble data to integrate into construction management software.
  • Analysis of project documents to generate activities, logic, and production rates.
  • Prepare and present schedule narratives as needed.
  • Compare and report on comparisons of monthly schedules with regards to changes, delays, or accelerations.
  • Analyze data and identify warnings and risks to the project.
  • Report on project teams' compliance with schedule process.
  • Perform periodic site visits to validate the integrity of scheduling information and estimates.
  • Travel up to 35% of the time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field or the equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Minimum of two years of related experience in multifamily or production home building construction.
  • Understanding of civil, architectural, structural, and MEP project plans and specifications.
  • Microsoft Project and Procore experience preferred.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations.
