He/she/they will perform data analyses for clinical research studies focused on improving the understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions and contribute to development of technology-based supports for children. In that context, he/she/they will collaborate with research staff, engineers, clinicians, and third-party researchers and laboratories.   Key Responsibilities Perform data analyses for clinical research studies. Analyses may include cleaning/aggregating large datasets, visualizing data, statistical analysis, signal processing, machine learning, etc. Ensure data quality for physiological data, identify and address causes of poor signal quality Support setup of devices and software used for data collection Prepare manuscripts, specifically methods and results sections Work closely with multi-disciplinary team, provide updates during weekly meetings Manage multiple on-going projects Maintaining the privacy and security of data being analyzed by following hospital best practices and procedures   Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science Research-based or data science related Master's degree or PhD, or equivalent experience Proficiency with R and Python (ability to independently write clean and well commented code for data analysis and maintain code repositories) Familiarity with statistical, signal processing, and machine learning methods Experience analysing clinical research data, such as:      - Physiological signals (PPG, ECG, EDA, etc.)      - Clinical assessment measures (IQ, etc.)      - Survey data (Likert scales, etc.)      - Clinical imaging data (MRI, etc.) Experience communicating research results, including written (e.g., manuscript preparation) and oral (presentations, team meetings)               About the Organization Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital creates a world of possibility by supporting children and youth with disabilities, medical complexity, illness and injury.
