Share Email Opening Title Digital Forensic Examiner  Description This critical position performs a variety of technical duties to include documenting investigations, recovering physical evidence, transporting evidence to various laboratories, and testifying in court. Performs and document computer and cellular telephone forensic examinations in a timely and professional manner. Conducts forensic examinations for computers, cell phones and other forms of computer media and related equipment. The employee receives supervision from, and reports directly to, the Commander, Persons Crime Section.   Position Requirements ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines: * Digital Forensics, Computer Forensics, Computer Science Information Assurance, Criminal Justice with concentration in Forensics with completion of college courses in related courses, or a related degree. And/or four (4) years experience as a Digital/Computer Forensic Examiner. Certification in at least one of these areas: EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE). IACIS Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE).
