At Blue, we discover pathways to realize your possibilities. Responsible for setting and leading strategies over marketing, sales and promotion of the credit union products, services, and brand. Directs the efforts of the marketing and advertising staff and works with them to develop business plans that further the credit union mission and goals. Initiates the connection between brand awareness and strategy alignment in all phases of communication. Works with other executive leadership to develop program measures and tracks return on investment. Ensures the Blue brand is upheld to the highest standards. This position also focuses on:

Manages all marketing media outlets to ensure member impact and direct marketing efforts are maximized. Manages the inhouse graphics design staff to ensure the consistent and effective use of the Blue Brand.

Builds annual marketing plan to include budget, schedule, and result measures. Uses data to track results and develop improved marketing impact. Follows through to ensure all plans are successful and meet the desired outcomes.

Digital platforms are kept up to date and monitored for compliance and overall impact. Social media strategy and deployment plans.

Leads the formulation, implementation, evaluation and administration of the company's marketing and market development functions to include new product/service evaluation, development and implementation.

Effectively hires, trains, mentors and directs the activities of department personnel. Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling; initiating, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures. Reviews and evaluates performance of subordinate personnel, and recommends salary adjustments, promotions, discharges and other personnel required actions.

Compensation Range: $85,594 - $142,657

EXPERIENCE: Five years to eight years of similar or related experience.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: A college degree in marketing related field.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: The ability to motivate or influence internal or external senior level professionals is a critical part of the job, requiring a significant level of influence and trust. Obtaining cooperation and agreement on important outcomes via frequently complex, senior level dialogues, as well as a professional level of written communication skills are essential to the position.
OTHER SKILLS:A solid knowledge of basic data processing system concepts pertaining to desktop publishing and MCIF is necessary. Online website and digital mobile design/development experience. Experience with social media and email marketing.
