Description

LSA’s Riverside office is seeking an Environmental Planner with between 2 and 5 years of professional consulting experience conducting environmental analyses for a consulting firm. Demonstrated experience preparing environmental documentation for varied types of public and private development projects in Inland Southern California is desired. The responsibilities for this position include: the preparation of environmental analysis, review of technical reports, literature review and research; and limited fieldwork in support of Project Managers and Principals in Charge.

Flexible workplace schedules are arranged with supervisor and allow for potential remote opportunities. The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $98,000 per year. The compensation offer will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.

 
Position Requirements

The successful candidate must have the ability to work with clients, agency representatives, engineers, and interdisciplinary technical experts and will be expected to assume project manager responsibilities for small- to medium-sized projects. This position will require the successful candidate to work concurrently on multiple assignments with different management and technical staff. This position requires the candidate to possess a B.S. /B.A. in environmental science, urban planning or related field. The candidate must have current experience and knowledge of CEQA/NEPA, including recent legislative updates; local, regional, State, and federal requirements; and other environmental, entitlement, and planning regulations/laws. Excellent writing, research, analytical, interpersonal communication, and time management skills are required. The candidate is expected to be self-motivating and demonstrate solid problem solving skills.

 
Compensation The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $98,000 per year. The compensation offer will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
