JOB SUMMARY
Supervises the duties in Housekeeping/Laundry which include but are not limited to: general cleaning, maintenance of floor finishes, window cleanig, wall washing, furniture moving, linen managemet, waste disposal, putting away delivered supplies. Oversees the quality/safety of all aspects of Housekeeping/Laundry including but not limited to: housekeeping, laundry, purchasing and janitorial.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB, DEPARTMENTAL EXPECTATIONS
- Manages the selection, training, development and performance of assigned staff to retain a motivated, professional workforce and to meet the needs of the facility.
- Responsible for financial viability for the department, to include development, mangament and accountability of budgets.
- Responsible to know, implement and assure compliance to State, Federal and/or County regulations and BHS policies and procedures.
- Responsible for odering all housekeeping related supplies except for the dietary department.
- All other duties as may be assigned.
