The Executive Assistant helps, supports, and maximizes the ministry of the Crossroads pastors and The River Network.
Manage calendars, schedule meetings
Project coordination—managing complex projects or simple task management
Meeting follow-up — taking notes, capturing actionable items, and distributing to the parties involved
Answer and route phone calls, mail, email
Writing and editing— creating first drafts or editing drafts of documents
Respond to emails and phone calls on behalf of the pastors
Make travel arrangements
Track expenses and prepare financial reports in QuickBooks Online
Conference/Event planning; coordinate Lead/Exec. Pastor-related functions
Database management—entering new records, tagging records, and organizing lists
Presentation creation—creating or editing PowerPoint/ProPresenter slides
Online file management and data collection—organizing files, collecting responses, or managing surveys
Strong commitment to Christ and to the mission and values of Crossroads Church, as well as align with our core theological beliefs (https://xr.church/aboutus/our-beliefs/).
Active member of Crossroads Church and a Life Group
Working knowledge of Google and Microsoft products, and the ability to learn other software (such as Evernote, QuickBooks Online, ProPresenter, and project management and database software.)
Write clearly and accurately
Ability to be proactive in problem solving and decision-making
Exercises confidentiality and sound judgment
Strong people skills (fruit of the Spirit)
