Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Training and Compliance, the Inventory and Production Clerk oversees the activities of the organization related to the procurement, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, equipment, supplies, and products.
Qualifications:
· Require a high-school diploma with a minimum of two to four years of customer service, logistic/supply chain experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
· Ability to plan effectively, set appropriate priorities, and manage several projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
· Demonstrated work ethic, drive, energy, and persistence to achieve goals.
· Ability to maintain stability, dependability, and professionalism when faced with changing and difficult situations.
· Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize Microsoft Office 365 Applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and applicable technology and point-of-sale applications.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills to address all levels within the organization.
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business policies, procedures, equipment manuals, training materials, and corporate communications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Issues supplies, materials, and equipment to MHS employees, clients, and third-party partners, both local and distant.
· Matches purchase order specifications to quantity and condition of ordered items.
· Completes all necessary paperwork for items received and issued.
· Conducts systematic, cyclic inventory and inspection of materials and supervises an annual inventory.
· Organizes and maintains inventory area for efficient material storage and handling.
· Maintains adequate property levels in association with custodial inventories.
· Stocks shelving with standard items received or returned.
· Develops, maintains, and distributes inventory reports for review and suggests changes.
· Ensures all products and equipment distributed are of quality and in serviceable condition; facilitates reports for all deficiencies and returns.
· Oversees MHS property disposal.
· Provides feedback/updates on current inventory and production control successes and rudiments to the supervisor.
· Processes graphic-based work order requests via necessary and applicable equipment in the Production area.
· Maintains 100% accountability and safety for all property and equipment assigned.
· Complies with all company policies and procedures.
· Prevents or minimizes consumable waste.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Must be able to work legally in the United States.
· Must pass background and drug screenings.
· Able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
· Ability to work under pressure.
· Excellent communication and people skills.
· Excellent organizational, mechanical, and spatial reasoning skills.
· Knowledge of general business practices including accounting, supply chain management, and customer service.
