JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Manager, Financial Services will represent VinFast US on multiple fronts including automotive financing and captive leasing, ancillary and assurance products, and vehicle remarketing. Results-oriented leadership, analytical acumen and a relationship management focus will be key to success in working with our financial service partners and vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Support the management of the Financial Services business in the US, working with and providing strategic and tactical recommendations to VinFast’s leadership team
  • Execute on the design of the retail consumer purchase experience and implementation of loan & lease and ancillary & assurance program offerings
  • Develop loyal and strong working relationships within VinFast at a global level and with US lending and strategic partners
  • Lead project workstreams to successfully achieve on-time, requirements-driven, deliverable outcomes in collaboration with internal stakeholders such as product, online sales, marketing, legal, finance and after-sales
  • Assist with day-to-day aspects of contact center and store management including training, inquiries & support related to a consumer’s digital/in-store purchase lifecycle, as it relates to financial services
  • Establish and monitor store performance metrics in relation to objectives in retail loan and lease volume and penetration, and ancillary and assurance product volume and penetration
  • Develop a frictionless trade-in process for consumers
  • Support optimization of new and pre-owned sales planning including proposed pricing strategy, residual value strategy and new business processes
  • Other related duties as assigned
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field – finance, accounting, marketing, commerce, business administration is considered an asset
  • 7-10 years of progressive industry experience across financial services and/or OEM(s) with 3-5 years in positions of leadership
  • Strong subject matter expertise within automotive lending, ancillary/assurance products and/or remarketing
  • Proven experience in structuring and negotiation, leading cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent PC skills to analyze data, track trends and retrieve relevant information
  • Demonstrated project management and facilitation experience with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with executive management
  • Recognized leadership capability, working towards goals and setting high standards for self and others
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple functions
  • Experience driving organizational change
  • Understanding key drivers of the business and the levers that impact business success (revenues, volumes and margin)
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, effective project planning in terms of resources, strategies, cost, and time with ability to meet project timelines
  • Experience with Business Intelligence software applications (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills; able to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement appropriate changes
  • Solutions focused, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence
