Drive and operate semi-tractors, single and double roll-off trailers, tankers and box vans (up to 53 feet) Onload/offload containers of hazardous waste Use proper placards in accordance with DOT regulations Verify containers are properly marked and labeled Perform a variety of tasks related to the management/movement of hazardous waste, including but not limited to screening drums to verify waste characteristics; operating air monitoring equipment such as LEL and halide meters; cleaning tanks using various equipment such as pressure washers, pneumatic pumps, tornado vacuums, and air compressors. Accurately complete, review and sign various forms such as driver logs, service and work orders, manifests, land ban forms, and bills of lading. Maintain required, training, certificates and licenses to perform job functions.
