Project Controls Primavera P6 Scheduler

Summary:

As a Project Controls P6 Scheduler, you will be expected to update & maintain the Project's Primavera P6 Schedule, develop and produce various project Reports (S-Curves-Productivity-Histograms-etc.). You will also interact with our Program Manager for updates to deliverables, as well as various project supervisors to provide checks and balances throughout the life cycle of the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and Maintain Weekly P6 Schedule Updates & CPM
  • Develop, Prepare and Produce Initial and Baseline Project Execution Schedules in accordance with contract and Division 01 requirements
  • Develop, Prepare and Produce updates to the PES in accordance with contract and Division 01 requirements
  • Develop, Prepare and Produce Narrative Reports with all PES submissions in accordance with contract and Division 01 requirements
  • Develop, Prepare and Produce Milestones in the PES in accordance with contract and Division 01 requirements
  • Develop, Prepare and Produce Cost Loading to the PES in accordance with contract and Division 01 requirements
  • Develop, Prepare and Produce Resource Loading to the PES in accordance with contract and Division 01 requirements
  • Develop, Prepare and Produce Cost Histograms and Cumulative Curves in accordance with contract and Division 01 requirements
  • Develop, Prepare and Produce Labor Histograms and Cumulative Curves in accordance with contract and Division 01 requirements
  • Develop, Prepare and Produce Calendars in accordance with contract and Division 01 requirements
  • Develop, Prepare and Produce Activity Codes in accordance with contract and Division 01 requirements

Position Requirements

Education, Skills, Experience Needed:

  • Advanced Primavera P6 and MS Excel skill and experience.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically MS 365 applications such as Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • 5 years of experience in Industrial Construction Planning/Scheduling/Project Controls
  • 3 or more years of experience with Department of State, Overseas Building Operations with an understanding of Division 01 requirements as they relate to scheduling
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, including the ability to work well and communicate with internal and external individuals at all levels.
  • Understanding of project cost control fundamentals with analytical skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data
  • Quality focused with acute attention to detail and problem solving
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • High School Diploma required; some college preferred
