Case Coordinator 

About the Organization Founded in 1996 by parents who sought the very best treatment available to deliver opportunities to children and adolescents living with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Minnesota Autism Center (MAC) provides therapeutic services for children ages 18 months to 21 years who have ASD.



MAC's services are center-based and in-home, and include speech and occupational therapy, assessment and diagnosis services, and individual and family therapy. At any given time, MAC serves approximately 370-400 clients throughout Minnesota at 17 centers located in Eagan, Eden Prairie, Maple Grove, Fridley, Vadnais Heights, Minnetonka, Woodbury, Duluth, Virginia, Mankato, Rochester, Red Wing, New Ulm, Medford, Hutchinson and Cambridge.



 
Description

The Case Coordinator will manage client programming by overseeing a caseload of clients, their families and direct support professionals.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bill 17-20 hours a week, a variety of IS and FS. FS will be assigned upon CS schedule.

• Support Clinical Supervisor in ITP and BIP creation/renewal as requested.

Collect necessary data as needed for Clinical Supervisors.

• Ensure all program books are updated with current programs, exemplars and data sheets for all clients for new and current ITP objectives.

• Provide delivery/arrange delivery of additional reinforcement, stimuli and/or activities for in-home staff from center resources, and maintain an active inventory so items are returned to center for future use.

• Monitor and evaluate assigned Direct Support Professionals; request overlap/check-in for additional training for your staff with QA support team when needed.

• Ensure supports are provided with quality, safety, dignity and respect to individuals served.

• Conduct virtual check-in/overlaps with staff assigned every other week unless client specific issue arises.

• Participating in leadership meetings and providing input to the COO regarding micro-site and in-home operational needs.

Althogh subject to change, currently this position will only be working with clients using EFL program curriculum.

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of 1-year experience of applying behavior analytic principles

• Has knowledge or experience in implementing different program curriculums (EFL, Skills,

• Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with clients, client’s parents and co-workers

• Ability to be self-motivated, passionate, and reliable while working in a diverse environment • Has strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and follow deadlines

• Familiarity with Word/Excel or computer systems

• The ability to communicate effectively, be observant of others and possess the ability to engage an audience and respond to inquiries independently

• Ability to demonstrate clinical judgement in relation to client programming needs

• Ability to receive feedback and implement it appropriately

• Has experience in leading or coaching individuals
