At Blue, we discover pathways to realize your possibilities. Responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and administration of all company contracts. This position is responsible for the life cycle of contracts from the negotiation, collaboration with stakeholders, execution, monitoring and termination. This position also focuses on:

  • Works with all of management on the maintenance of vendor relationships once the contract has been fully executed. Ensure the vendor files are kept up-to-date along with the responsible stakeholders for maintenance purposes. Ensures ongoing due diligence and reviews are conducted on existing vendors, following up with stakeholders to ensure that appropriate due diligence reviews (security reports such as SOC, audited financials, BCP) are being conducted as required by the risk rating. Aids management in terminating contracts as necessary.

  • Manages the entire life cycle for company contracts to lead contract negotiations, collaborate with lines of business to ensure all terms and pricing agreements are made and conform with credit union standards. Ensures efficiency, quality control, and compliance with all regulatory guidance and credit union policies for the vendor oversight program. Ensures all appropriate due diligence is exercised in all phases of third-party relationships. Evaluates all current and future relationships and contracts with third party service providers to ensure the credit union maintains a strong working relationship that serve to benefit the organization, and its employees and customers. Ensures that the third party is thoroughly monitored, tracked, and documentation is maintained on each contract.

  • Ensure initial and ongoing training of management occurs on the vendor oversight program and its requirements. Maintains all policies and procedures to ensure third party risk is minimized, and all regulatory requirements are being met. Ensures all terminated contracts are maintained or destroyed in accordance with credit union policies.

  • Prepares, analyzes, and supplies contract reports to management.

  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Full Time Position

Compensation Range: $52,763 - $79,145

*This position is located at and reports to the Blue Federal Credit Union World Headquarters locationin Cheyenne, Wyoming. 

 
Position Requirements

EXPERIENCE: Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience. Legal aptitude and understand relationships between and among contract provisions. Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Strong communication skills are imperative.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: A college degree in business or legal. Requires a CRVPM certification or must become certified within 1 year of hire. Paralegal preferred.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.

MENTAL AND/OR EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to complete basic mathematical calculations, spell accurately, and understand computer basics. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.

Bondability Eligibility for employment is dependent on bondability.
