Our History

eMDs was founded in 1996 by David Winn, MD, a board-certified family practice physician with a very strong business background who understood the value of having an integrated practice management system which helped physicians focus on patients while optimizing practice financials. Dr. Winn was dissatisfied with offerings on the market, and set out to create his own. The eMDs clinic was first implemented in 1998. Using our own practice management system meant we fully understood what it takes to create the perfect EHR system and why the company built our reputation upon being a highly usable system.

Summary of Job: The role of the Aria RCM Sales Consultant is responsible for net new RCM business generated from our direct technology customers by providing value-added expertise to customers and associated key stake-holders. This is a quota carrying position that will promote and sell our RCM services as an add-on to the customers software. . The Aria RCM Sales Consultant works closely with the Technology Account Executives and the Aria RCM Account Executives to understand technical and business challenges and opportunities of the customers.

The overall success of this role is dependent on the relationships with key leaders across their customer organizations and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction for all CGM products and services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Initiate contact with our direct technology customers to facilitate the sale of net new ARIA RCM products and/or services that fall within scope of established offerings.
  • Establish relationships with existing direct technology customers by collecting and clarifying information with all key stakeholders, communicating project or program plans and progress, and responding to customer questions and request
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing technology customers through targeted outreach
  • Develop expertise on the ARIA RCM product and/or service line to highlight value proposition and customer ROI
  • Advise customers on RCM related trends and positioning against competitive offerings by staying informed and current on the industry
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded
  • Achieve customer satisfaction levels as established by CGM
  • Evaluate and document customers current RCM business model pertaining to strategy and technology to understand their current/future state environment and create gap analysis to meet expected outcomes
  • Maintain appropriate contact with customers, provides reporting and analysis as required.
  • Develop communications and documentation to support customer and internal change management activities
  • Identify opportunities for expanded delivery of services through add-on of company solution offerings
  • Refer opportunities out of Aria RCM Consultant scope to appropriate internal team
  • Lead sales process from opportunity identification to closing of net new RCM business generated from our direct technology customers
  • Own the lead generation to support revenue growth by generating qualified ARIA RCM sales leads, arranging informational meetings and contacts
  • Achieve or exceed individual assigned sales quota
  • Maintain accurate sales funnel and sales stage in assigned tool
  • Meet or Exceed assigned KPI objectives
  • Provide weekly updates to leadership of sales forecast
  • Work with Finance team to address any outstanding AR issues that need to be addressed
  • Enhance organizational growth by procuring customer referral for service expansion within the client, affiliated and non-affiliated partners
  • Assist Aria RCM team with analysis as needed
  • Generate outbound sales calls to the existing CGM technology customer base
  • Maintain healthcare industry technical and regulatory knowledge as it relates to RCM and establish procedures to ensure compliance
  • Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4 Years of experience in a generating net new revenue within a healthcare organization. Preferably in a Hunter Role.
  • 4 years of experience with Revenue Cycle Management Sales or Operations.
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to generate net new revenue from customers and grow a book of business
  • Effective problem-solving, interpersonal and negotiation skills required.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills required. Employees are required to speak, read and write English
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage confidential information.
  • Must be able to effectively work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple work assignment simultaneously.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Detailed understanding of clinical, financial, and business operations and systems
  • Highly self-motivated and focused
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
  • Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure. Ability to engage senior-level executives and establish credibility
  • Travel: 10%
