Description

Assisting the Operations Manager, the Project Coordinator is key to the success of high priority projects and programs at Midstate Spring. Day-to-day, the Project Coordinator will work with the Operations Manager to align projects with business goals, construct detailed work plans, manage project teams, achieve milestones, and communicate the results across an audience of key stakeholders.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • May oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of cross functional project team members.
  • May assist with constructive and timely project report outs & evaluations.
  • May assign roles and tasks to dedicated team members based on project needs, organizational priorities, individual strengths, and abilities.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with cross functional team members to coordinate internal and external resources ensuring the advancement of project activities.
  • Assist in assigning project tasks to relevant parties and check in for status updates.
  • Develop and maintain project specific documents and tools
  • Assist with reporting project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate stakeholders as needed.
  • Administer and organize multiple types of projects from simple to complex.
  • May facilitate or lead project specific workshops, trainings, and/or meetings to drive ideas and solutions.
  • Works with the Operations Manager to identify trends and opportunities to propose and evaluate new special projects at Midstate Spring.
 
Position Requirements

The ideal candidate will have production experience, exceptional communication skills, a go getter personality, and a proven ability to get the best out of both people and projects. The ideal candidate must also be able to work well under pressure without sacrificing quality, is detail oriented, dependable, and a natural problem solver.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite & advanced use of MS Excel.
  • Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and action plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s internal systems.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field required
  • At least one year of project management experience
  • At least one year of experience working in a corporate setting; preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
