Admissions Manager, Philadelphia

Admissions Manager needed for full-time, temp to hire position in Philadelphia.

The Admissions Manager is responsible for the admission intake process for short and long-term residential programs, halfway house programs, intensive outpatient and outpatient programs, obtaining the initial authorization, and monitoring all authorizations for funding so billing for services can occur.

This individual will work closely with the residential and outpatient staff as well as the setting's Billing Coordinator to ensure the collection ratio meets budgeted revenue. Supervisory duties include supervision of caseworker(s) and administrative supervision of all program therapists.

Position Requirements

MSW and one year of experience; or BSW and three years of experience in the addiction field. Trained in The American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). Ability and skills are necessary to communicate and maintain relationships with service providers in the community. Familiarity with outreach services to Community Agencies especially, Drug and Alcohol programs that refer women for treatment. Knowledge of Chemical Dependency and the recovery process.
