Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Sr. Project Manager, the Associate Manager will manage all stages of department and client initiatives from start to finish. In this role you will be the face of DAVACO and the main, direct point of contact with our clients throughout all stages of project lifecycles.

Qualifications

  • Acts as main point of contact for DAVACO client programs in direct partnership with the Sr. Project Manager
  • Confirm and communicate Client scope of work to Field Training & Execution Managers
  • Create training materials for use by DAVACO field teams during execution
  • Schedule and oversee client initiative trainings in conjunction with client and field management
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to Field Managers and Sr. PM on employee performance
  • Create and deliver final client project summaries at the close of projects ensuring all deliverables are accurate and timely
  • Partner with Sr. Project Manager and Field Managers to ensure superior service to the client
  • Make sound business decisions to ensure client satisfaction and DAVACO profitability
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously while always ensuring consistency with DAVACO’s mission and value statement

Essential Functions

  • Foster and maintain client relationships
  • Establish and maintain client portals, calendars and billing procedures
  • Scheduling of field teams to work on client projects, ensuring maximum cost effectiveness to the department and client
  • Act as main point of contact with client throughout the duration of projects and at the end, ensuring proper execution and client satisfaction
  • Ensure program info and scheduling requirements are communicated to field management in a timely manner
  • Maintain current business and develop future business with existing clients by ensuring relationship remains strong
  • Participate in cost management bid process so as to be educated in all aspects of costs associated with client initiatives
  • Ensure programs meet cost projections and ensure billing is complete and accurate
  • Be able to speak to knowledgeably about financials of each project executed, including: revenue, costs and profit margin.
  • Book travel in compliance with DAVACO policies and procedures
  • Compile and prepare final project summary reports for all client initiatives
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

Job Requirements – Must-have skills and experience:

  • Ability to accept and action constructive feedback
  • Previous store experience
  • Must be professional and possess strong interpersonal skills at multiple levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills are imperative
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve, with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize
  • Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Dependable, with a strong work ethic
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel occasionally to client meetings or projects as needed
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Smartsheet experience.
  • Knowledge of retail and wholesale
  • Management experience preferred
