Regional Technical Sales Consultant/Area Sales Manager

Position Summary: Due to expansion within the medical laser space, there is potential opportunity for a highly experienced technical sales professional based in the Brisbane region.

Take charge of your own destiny in this highly autonomous role. Establish your own schedule and travel requirements while taking complete control of the sales process and post-sales support.

Motivated, innovative operators who are prepared to take the initiative and make critical decisions are ideal applicants. This job requires tenacity and critical thinking in creating market opportunities, relationships, negotiating deals and being responsible for your results.

This exciting opportunity provides scope with the world’s highest quality aesthetic laser, to expand the current reach in the Australian market. You will build new relationships and enhance existing ones to achieve budget success within the Dermatology, Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery specialties as well as the Beauty market segment.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technical capital sales professionals. A lucrative package including base, car allowance and commission is on offer for the successful applicant.

In this role, you will:

  • You will drive the success and growth of your sales region by generating leads vigorously and effectively
  • Research and analyze competitive products
  • Perform market research, investigation, and due diligence
  • Implement individual sales and marketing plans to achieve quarterly and yearly sales goals and objectives
  • Report to the General Manager to continually update and implement sales strategies and processes


Position Requirements

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years business to business sales experience in capital equipment is essential
  • Travel will be required for territory coverage (QLD, NT & WA) along with occasional weekend conference attendance.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Discipline to meet budget deadlines and create a sense of urgency
  • Ability to organize workload & manage multiple tasks
  • Experience managing product promotional events
  • Ability to establish and manage high profile KOL’s
  • Proven sales background with expense budget management
  • Technically agile with a level of scientific competence to facilitate equipment demonstrations, training and technical problem solving.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel, CRM ( experience essential
  • Tertiary qualifications in science / healthcare discipline are advantageous
  • Driver’s license and reliable vehicle (van/SUV) for transport of equipment are essential
