Share Email Opening Title Home Visitor - Early Childhood Education  Position Home Visitor - Early Childhood Education   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Base Wage $16.38 - $18.00 per hour based on education and experience   Description Skip-a-Long Childhood Centers, part of SAL Community Services, is the Quad Cities area’s leading provider of early childhood care and education and now includes the Early Head Start Child Care Partnerships program. As a Home Visitor on our team, you will create a quality learning environment that actively engages children to both learn and play and support families. You will play a role in enhancing the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social growth of children. This means you’ll do things like: Conduct weekly home visits to pregnant mothers; Work with families to identify resources and needs; Educate families to ensure health and nutrition needs are met; Model appropriate techniques behaviors with families; and Create lesson plans. Requirements Home Visitors must obtain background clearances, be fully-vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine, be able to travel or have reliable transportation, be able to complete physical tasks such as sit, stand, stoop, lift and carry up to 45 pounds, and view children, have an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or similar and at least one year of experience.
