Then Apply NOW!!! WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform emergency repairs to various types of industrial machines in the production area. Operate power equipment in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards. Notify maintenance and supervisor of needed machine repairs or areas of maintenance concern. Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. Monitor, identify and respond promptly to signs of malfunction in machineries such as changes in performance, temperature fluctuations, sounds, smells or atypical energy usage; perform troubleshooting for production machinery. Perform emergency repairs on various types of machinery, including mechanical, electric and hydraulic; identify and replace worn or damaged parts in a timely manner. Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual inspections, listening for irregular noises and conducting scheduled testing as appropriate. Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment.   Position Requirements WHAT YOU’LL REQUIRE: High School Diploma or GED Two years of progressive experience in a maintenance field. Experience working in a production environment. Be able to read building and electrical schematics. Possess excellent skills in techniques in repairing and maintaining industrial/production machines. Should have basic math skills. Should have excellent organizational and decision-making skills.
