Surgical Assistant

NHOMS is an expanding oral surgery practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. We have been in practice for over 20 years and as we expand we are looking for stellar applicants to help us grow.

Surgical assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and switch gears as necessary. Dental experience and certifications are a plus but we are willing to train the right candidate and assist in necessary certifications.


Massachusetts Dental Assistant License (for mass offices only)

Radiology certification

CPR certification

DAANCE certification

MedTech (NH as required)

Computer literacy in basic applications like email and Microsoft Office

Full time availability Monday - Friday

Job Responsibilities:

Chairside assisting during a variety of dental surgical procedures

Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments

Maintain strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA, and HIPAA

Obtaining radiographic images and necessary documentation

Provide patients with required pre-op and post-op care instructions as required

Maintain accurate patient charting

Dental office experience: 1 year (Preferred)

WinOMS experience: 1 year (Preferred)
