Description

ProMedica Senior Care, formerly HCR ManorCare, provides a range of services, including skilled nursing care, assisted living, post-acute medical and rehabilitation care, hospice care, home health care and rehabilitation therapy.

As the Arden Courts Human Resources Coordinator you oversee day to day activities and personnel within your service area. Because you are always in contact with residents and families, and to guarantee their satisfaction, this position requires tact, sensitivity and professionalism. As the Human Resources Coordinator you are a member of the Administrative Services Team. You are the coordinator of the team. You and your team are responsible for supporting Arden Courts and achieving our goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Human Resources facility oversight includes recruiting, retention, HR compliance, training, personnel files, employee relations, and unemployment claims
  • Coordinates and/or provides safety training and education programs for new and current employees
  • Recruits, selects, orients, and trains Administrative Services Assistants
  • Ensures all schedules and hours worked are maintained in time-keeping system
  • Process payroll and prepare personnel requisitions, personal change forms, and termination notices

Educational Requirements Associates degree and two (2) years of experience required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.  
Position Requirements

Experience in Assisted Living facility preferred. Excellent PC skills, competent in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel software packages; working knowledge of copy machine, fax machine, and laser printer. Excellent command of English language in both written and oral forms; excellent proofreading skills. Basic Accounting skills and demonstrated accuracy with numbers.
