Description

ProMedica Hospice has an exciting part time or full time, 24-32 hours/week, opportunity for a Chaplain/Spiritual Care Coordinator to join our established growing hospice agency supporting patients and families in their homes in the Kenosha/Racine/Walworth county areas.  Limited on call after hour responsibilities.   

We are seeking a chaplain to provide spiritual care to patients, families and staff as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team that provides the highest quality end-of-life care.  The successful candidate will preferably have previous hospice experience.

Educational Requirements Bachelor's from an accredited school of theology or equivalent, or Master's in Counseling or Master's in Social Work with 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) required; Master's in theological studies or equivalent and completion of 2 units of CPE preferred. If affiliated or endorsed by a denomination or faith group must be in good standing, as evidenced by a certificate.  
Position Requirements

Experience in client/family counseling. Demonstrated experience in working with clients and families coping with terminal illness and death. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
