We are looking for a QC Lab Technician. In this role, you will beresponsible for maintaining clean laboratory glassware and performing general housekeeping duties, as well as assisting in the ordering and inventory of chemicals, reagents, and laboratory office supplies.

How You Will Make An Impact:

  • Perform glassware cleaning (retrieval of used glassware, cleaning glassware in accordance with written procedures, storage of clean glassware).
  • Perform general housekeeping within the lab such as dusting, mopping floors, cleaning bench top areas, equipment exterior surfaces and shelving.
  • Laboratory waste management.
  • Assist laboratory analysts with the cleaning of dissolution systems.
  • Assist in preparing buffer solution.
  • Assist with the ordering and inventory of chemicals, reagents and laboratory/office supplies that meet the requirements documented in analytical testing protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Label incoming chemicals, reagents, and supplies in accordance with directions provided in written procedures.
  • Discard laboratory chemicals, reagents, and supplies for valid expiration dating.
  • Perform inventory using software such as Smartsheet as well as Microsoft office.
  • Organize the lab using computer system such as Microsoft office.
  • Assist in daily weight check for the analytical balance and linearity of pH meter.
 
Position Requirements

Ideal Candidate Will Bring:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required  Generally requires zero to two (0-2) years of experience. Six months of experience working in a laboratory environment or within a cGMP environment is preferred.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good rapport with work colleagues.
  • Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently with moderate supervision.
  • Ability to operate personal computers with a general understanding of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), and an understanding of the Internet.
