The Human Resources Representative will join the HR team in providing the necessary support in maintaining daily HR functions while providing project support to various areas of the organization. Areas of support include, but are not limited to employee engagement, leave management, HR reporting, rewards and recognition, benefits, policy interpretation and other HR-related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with employees and managers to assist with questions and policy clarification; makes on-site visits to sites to provide face-to-face HR availability to staff in the work environment.
  • Assists in developing job descriptions and the administration of ATS and HRIS systems.
  • Administers benefits enrollment and reporting.
  • Provides analytical and support employee benefit programs including health insurance, retirement, and other plans, as needed.
  • Facilitates onboarding and new hire orientation functions.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of employee recognition and rewards programs.
  • Assists in developing and conducting various HR-related training and presentations.
  • Administers unemployment and leave functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a benefit.
  • Minimum of 1-year work experience as an HR administration/coordination role.
  • Ability to effectively work with a diverse workforce including individuals with disabilities.
  • Very strong analytical, conceptual thinking, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and people skills.
  • Detail-oriented and with the ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency and be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable and with the ability to stay focused and positive in a constantly changing environment.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
