SUMMARY: Allen Corporation is a McAfee Service Delivery Specialization Partner, and one of the McAfee Professional Services organizations top contractors. Allen is consistently rated Exceptional by McAfee for the quality of its projects and the expertise of its consultants in implementing McAfee security solutions at Fortune 1000 firms and Government organizations throughout North America. This internship will consist of completing a structured training program to develop the next generation of McAfee subject matter experts and to prepare the intern for a career in cyber security consulting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Develop a working knowledge of McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator and additional McAfee cyber security products selected by the intern in consultation with and approved by the assigned mentor. The intern will be required to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, utilize strong trouble-shooting skills, and be able to implement and administer the selected McAfee solutions according to best practices. Acceptable progress will be measured by successfully completing all assigned McAfee training tasks as measured by online exams, one-on-one solution readiness exams conducted with the intern by an experienced McAfee consultant, and McAfee certification exams for delivery specializations.
Develop a basic understanding of networking concepts that will support the duties necessary of a cyber security professional.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the education and experience requirements, and be able to work, on average, 19 hours per week, and perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Consideration will be given for internships of up to 40 hours per week for interns who are transitioning to cyber security from other IT careers or have recently graduated from an accredited Computer Science program. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: College Seniors [GB1]in Information Science or Technology or Computer Science enrolled full-time and within six months of graduation and with at least a 3.0 Grade Point Average, recent graduates of an accredited four-year undergraduate program in Information Science or Technology or Computer Science, or IT professionals with three or more years of relevant experience.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Working knowledge of modern computer systems and network environments. Working knowledge of computer security.
