Managing and mitigating legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures. Ensuring compliance with all Indian laws and regulations that apply to the business in India. Promoting legal, compliance and risk management best practice throughout the company. Communicating with and managing any third-party bodies such as external counsel or auditors etc. in India. Designing and delivering legal training to the business. Staying up-to-date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to Indian laws, rules and regulations that directly affect our business and specific industry in India. This goes especially for upcoming new 1) Labor Law and Labor Law Codes as well as new 2) Data Privacy Law • Liaising with senior members of staff   Category Legal   Position Requirements 8+ years of industry experience or relevant experience Law degree and being a lawyer from a law firm. Strong skills in different legal services making sure to support those areas of greatest business need and/or highest legal risk. Experience from a similar In House Legal job which will be used to navigate and work on the inside of an organization.
