TicketNetwork is seeking to add an experienced Sr Project Manager to its growing Engineering organization. The ideal candidate will seek out ways to improve efficiency and communication across teams. The position will guide development teams throughout the SDLC process, from running daily stand-ups to coordinating large cross-team initiatives and keeping management informed of project statuses as well as training and mentoring other project managers.

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Lead and mentor a growing international team of Project Managers
  • Manage software development projects through the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from research to implementation and to assessment/monitoring after release to ensure success of technology solutions relating to scope, timeline and needed resources.
  • Practice core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Schedule and lead project meetings including daily stand-ups, Sprint planning meetings, Scrum of Scrum meetings, Retrospectives, Release planning/scheduling, facilitate Sprint Demos and stakeholder overviews, and other team activities.
  • Prepare and deliver a series of reports including detailed Status reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  • Be proactive in identifying and helping to resolve blockers, as well as manage load balancing.
  • Use Azure DevOps (internal work management tool) to help confirm that project details and features are created/correct for the project.
  • Facilitate issue resolutions and trade-off decisions in coordination with other teams, senior management, and business owners.
  • Be knowledgeable about product to be able to manage scope, understand issues, and communicate updates.
  • Analyze project operational metrics for trends within the engineering department and perform evaluations in order to help drive improvement efforts.
  • Provide direction and support to in-house and overseas resources to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Maintain the project intake repository by documenting all incoming project ideas from stakeholders and updating the status of each project throughout the process by communicating with project team leads.

Position Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Three to Five years of Program Management related experience
  • Solid understanding of product development lifecycle
  • Ability to lead and manage team efforts, strong team building skills
  • Ability to work within a budget and direct day to day activities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Decision-making skills, and the ability to work under continual deadline pressure required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • PMI or PMP certification or similar from an accredited organization preferred
