A day in the life of a primary care paramedic requires courage and compassion; facing diverse and interesting situations where you directly affect people's lives by your actions. Location of Project: Approx. 1 hour outside of Lloydminster. Duration of Projects: Approximately 3 months, starting early July. Primary Duties: Ensure that injured workers are provided with immediate and professional on-site medical care within their scope of practice, and to advise and/or arrange timely transport to additional medical care as needed Read, understand, and comply with HSE Integrated safety and medical services policies, Workplace Scope of Practice Guidelines, Medical Control Guidelines, as well as all applicable government laws and regulations. Work within the PCP scope of practice determined by the applicable licensing body, utilizing the HSE medical control guidelines Report to and take direction from the Station Manager for the district in which he/she is working Other duties will be assigned as necessary   Position Requirements Previous industrial medical experience is an asset Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written PCP registration with AB and SK provincial licensing body H2S Alive CPR - Health Care Provider (HCP) or Basic Life Support (BLS) Non GDL Class 5 (or equivalent) driver’s License Common Safety Orientation (CSO) *Additional training and certifications may be necessary to meet client specifications.   Full-Time/Part-Time -unspecified-   Shift Various Shifts     Division DXP | HSE Integrated Ltd.   This position is currently not accepting applications.
