Primary responsibilities include working to understand data analysis and integration requirements and guiding solution design and architecture to meet these needs, in addition to core business analyst responsibilities.   Position Requirements Specific Accountabilities Core Data Analyst Responsibilities Proactively mines data warehouse to identify trends and patterns and generates insights for business units and senior leadership Develops frameworks and processes to analyze unstructured information collected through social media platforms i.e., wikis, blogs, instant messaging, etc. and traditional sources such as e-mail and SharePoint Interacts with information architects to understand how information is stored, modeled, and tagged Acts as a go-to-person for end users to interpret and use information Promotes architectural standards and consistency Promotes usability standards and design solutions with a high-quality, effortless user experience Defines, sets up, and executes test cases to validate functional and non-functional requirements are met Provide consultative support and advice on technology projects as appropriate Specialized Data Analyst Responsibilities Identify and aggregate data from internal and external sources Guide solution design to meet data and integration requirements Coordinate with data owners to ensure data accessibility and quality Contribute to management of central data stores and metadata   Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Competent in data mining and unstructured information analysis Knowledge of data analysis and usage requirements Ability to generate insights from information Analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to adapt and respond to change Understanding of business context and objectives Ability to communicate technical concepts in plain language Working knowledge of the following systems is preferred but not essential, Fiserv DNA, NCR Digital Banking, Fiserv Integrator Advance, Fiserv Loan Director, and Ellie Mae Encompass.
