Ensures that facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, carpentry, painting, yard maintenance, and janitorial services. This position operates a variety of maintenance and cleaning tools and equipment; and performs related work as required. Ensures that facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition Performs custodial tasks Performs office facility maintenance and is responsible for the upkeep & maintenance of the yard, parking areas, and buildings Conducts monthly upkeep (replaces filters) of heating and air conditioning equipment Inspects facilities and grounds for safety and security; identifies and reports hazardous conditions and facility maintenance needs to supervisor Follows safe working practices and makes appropriate use of related safety equipment as required Assists with structural pest control measures Removes snow and debris from sidewalks and in front of buildings and parking lots Works closely with the Purchasing department to perform monthly upkeep for equipment and tools Other Duties/Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job.   Position Requirements Experience: One (1) year of relevant work experience is required An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis Abilities: Ability to perform semi-skilled facility maintenance Ability to use, operate, and maintain equipment and tools safely and effectively Ability to perform heavy manual labor for period of times Ability to independently organize work, set priorities, meet deadlines, and follow up on assignments Ability to maintain records and files on work performed Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications: A valid Driver’s License is required Candidates must pass criminal, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and background checks as a requirement of the job and pass a pre-employment drug screen   Open Date 6/28/2022   Close Date   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
