We are seeking Corporate Development Lead to join our team in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area; this position has full remote capability.

The Corporate Development Lead provides support to The Columbia Group’s growth initiatives, including M&A search, due diligence of targets, and integration support to support company strategic objectives.

The ideal candidates will:

  • Actively search for acquisition targets
  • Responsible for development of reports, presentations, and analysis on The Columbia Group’s strategic activity as well as M&A activity within DoD and Government contracting to the President and Executive Leadership team.
  • Develop and maintain financial planning & analysis model based on contracts waterfall and factored pipeline
  • Supports research and financial analysis on prospective target opportunities, industry/competitor, and related initiatives
  • Liaises with internal business development personnel to coordinate due diligence activities and coordination of planning sessions.
  • Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.

 

 
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Familiarity with financial concepts to include accounting and valuation.
  • Expert proficiency in MS Office suite of products, to include PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Word.
  • Prior Defense or DoD Experience is desired.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • US Citizenship is a prerequisite.

Some TCG customers require individuals providing support to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations.
