EMPLOYEE OWNER POSITION PURPOSE:

The Club Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and quality administrative support to both internal and external clients, including, but not limited to: being the first point of contact at the Club’s entrance, supporting the front desk, and providing limited child care services in the Kid’s Zone.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet guests and answer incoming phone calls quickly, warmly, and professionally
  • Verify proper identification is provided and that only active members access the Club
  • Ensure adherence to Company policies regarding sign-in/out logs, visitor badges, and guests being accompanied by an employee
  • Regularly assess the facility for overall appearance, supply needs, and safety; alert maintenance team as appropriate
  • Alert supervisor to issues related to the front desk and other potentially disruptive matters in the Club/surrounding area
  • Oversee all cash boxes, registers, etc.; reconcile cash at the end of each shift
  • Assist in coordinating special events, including member functions; participate in setup and teardown
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized surrounding area
  • Ensure current records (i.e. contact lists) are readily available
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Kid’s Zone

  • This role provides limited child care services to children of visiting Club members.  There is significant responsibility and risk associated with this task.  Each employee whose job duties include child care will read and acknowledge receipt of the attached supplemental documents provided by our insurance carriers to ensure safe practices and mitigate risk for all parties.  These documents are titled “Child Day Care Services: Liability Exposure Assessment” and “Child Day Care Services: Liability Exposure Controls”.
  • While performing duties in the Kid’s Zone, Club Attendants will be asked to:
    • Be visible and accessible at all times throughout the shift
    • Verify that each parent/guardian provides:
      • Proper proof of identification
      • Signatures on all relevant logs, disclosures, etc. associated with this service
      • Critical health information regarding the child(ren), including:
        • Current health status (do not permit entry to children whose parents identify as ill or that you can visibly tell are ill and could possibly infect other children)
        • Any known medical conditions (i.e. allergies)
        • Any other information the parent/guardian deems necessary for you as an employee of The Management Trust to safely perform these duties
        • A mobile number where the parent/guardian may be reached at all times while the child(ren) is/are in the Kid’s Zone
          • Acknowledgement that the parent/guardian must remain on the premise while his/her child(ren) is/are in the Kid’s Zone
          • Appropriate payment
  • Provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for children
  • Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and customer service to all members and guests
  • Continuously monitor and observe the children’s behavior, paying particular attention to their safety
  • Contact any member of management or dial 911 immediately should you observe anything of concern related to the children’s wellbeing

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in administration/reception and customer service preferred
  • Experience in child care highly preferred, including CPR and other training
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in administrative support – generally between 1-4 years
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; intermediate skills a plus
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and address time-sensitive issues
  • Superior multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to provide high-level customer service with astute attention to detail and organization
  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to manage workflow amid shifting priorities
  • Willing to learn Company process and procedures, and learn/use proprietary software
  • Adaptable and dependable with a solid attendance record
  • Professional and respectful demeanor with all internal and external customers at all times

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Use standard office equipment, including: computer, phone, copier/scanner, etc.
  • Be able to determine if/when help is required as related to providing limited child care services
  • Be stationary for periods of time
  • Relocate up to (25) pounds

  • Shifts will vary based on business need
  • May be required to work long hours, weekends, and holidays
