Our custom digital applications have been installed and commissioned on a wide range of VIP/VVIP narrowbody and widebody platforms in addition to numerous private and utility jet, turboprop, and helicopter models. We also offer customized graphical user interfaces accessible on our touchscreens, allowing seamless and intuitive control of the IFE/CMS system.   SUMMARY: The Product Test Engineer will develop test plans and execute them for both hardware and software products and will work independently with complete end-to-end ownership of the testing process from the design phase all the way through to validating the final products.   Responsibilites: Analyze product specifications to ensure they meet requirements Develop product test plans which includes checking boundary and stress conditions Set up test systems in an engineering lab and execute test plans Write up task reports when issues are discovered Follow through to validate that fixed issues have been resolved Verify that final products meet their specifications Assist other departments to maintain timeliness of projects   Position Requirements Education: Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering 3 years of testing experience in lieu of degree   Experience: Experience testing embedded electronics, preferably for aircraft desired Experience testing software applications and embedded systems preferred Good working knowledge of Ethernet networking Experience with Issue & Project Tracking systems desired Ability to use electronics tools such as multimeter and oscilloscope desirable Logical and analytic mindset that is good at problem solving Skills in programming, electrical engineering, and soldering desirable   An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a drug test and background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass both the drug test and background check will not be considered for employment.   ACCOMMODATION REQUEST Astronics CCC is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodation to individuals with physical and mental disabilities.
