The Internet Sales Manager must consistently and profitably meet vehicle sales quotas through expert management and leadership of the sales team and by forecasting sales and maintaining proper inventory levels in terms of amount and vehicle types. In addition, the Internet Sales Manager hires, trains, and monitors team member performance; resolves customer complaints; and helps with closings when necessary.

The ideal candidate has some post-secondary education (degree, coursework, certification, etc.), at least two years of experience in a large-volume dealership, and some supervisory or management experience. He or she must have a strong business acumen and sales aptitude and a willingness to accept full accountability for sales targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong leadership and motivational skills are essential.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops viable sales forecasts and associated sales strategies
  • Hires, trains, and monitors team member performance
  • Establishes sales quotas and manages overall sales goals
  • Ensures all sales targets are met or exceeded
  • Provides timely and accurate reports on all sales activities as needed
  • Guarantees customer satisfaction in all areas
  • Motivates and develops staff through coaching, mentoring, and training
  • Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
  • Manages all required paperwork and records and prepares documentation (forms, reports, etc.) when needed
  • Provides timely and accurate reports as required
  • Ensures stated goals are met
  • Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures

  • Ability to learn quickly and use customized software and applications Responsibilities and Duties
  • Communicate via outbound phone calls, as well as email
  • Maintain CRM Integrity
  • Hold team accountable to Daily Tasks, Lead Closing %, Appointments set %, and Utilization %
  • Follow approved scripts on outbound calls to ensure proper expectations have been set
  • Use provided rebuttals to overcome objections and close sales
  • Recommend and suggest products to achieve daily sales goals
  • Address customer questions and concerns regarding their order while also managing account information
  • Process orders while communicating all essential customer account information Our ideal candidate is looking for a long-term stable position and has experience in administrative or customer experience roles and is technically savvy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

 
Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred
  • Sales experience with verifiable proof of meeting sales targets
  • Experience in supervising and managing staff
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Outgoing personality and willing to work with the public on a daily basis
  • Highly professional and dependable
  • Proficient computer and internet skills
  • Five years progressively responsible management experience
  • Previous experience preferred
  • Verifiable sales performance in sales and CSI.
