Seeking a Health Information Management Specialist with SQL & EMR 

SIGN ON BONUS!

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the design, structure and functioning of the agency’s EMR, including additional Solutions
  • Creates/modifies screens in the EMR
  • Utilizes SQL & scripting language programming and/or statistical tools to write, execute & analyze datasets
  • Supports the tracking & reporting of Clinical Outcomes as required by regulatory entities and/or payers, such as Medicare, Medicaid, the State of NJ & the Joint Commission
  • Provides training and assistance to Clinical Informatics staff & end users on the agency’s EMR
  • Responsible for the management and integrity of the data in the agency’s EMR.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, MIS, HIT, Informatics or other technology related field from accredited college and/or university
  • Two years related experience involving database administration & management; myevolv EMR experience preferred
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Knowledge & skilled in SQL REQUIRED, database structure and electronic health record
  • Must have advanced knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office Suite: Word & Excel , Report Writer REQUIRED
  • Possess a valid driver's license and must be insurable under Agency's automobile
