Share Email Opening Title Production Associate Lead - PAL  Description Nixon is seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service as it relates to processing customer orders. Position Summary: The Production Lead Associate is required to perform a variety of functions within the washroom/medical linen processing departments, including the ability to perform all functions performed by Production Operators. The Production Lead Associate will assist the Production Manager in managing, monitoring, and facilitating all production activities to maximize productivity and minimize customer business interruptions. All duties are expected to be performed in accordance with organizational operating procedures and quality standards. Essential Functions: Manage startup of all equipment and automated systems. Manage WIP to ensure timely processing to meet scheduled completion times. Work with the Production Manager to ensure WIP is available for each respective work area. Manage resources to ensure operational demands are met. Maintain garment organization and batch integrity for washroom operations. Approach all aspects of the work to be performed with safety as the highest priority. Assist in the training of production associates. Follow instructions of production management and assist other team members when needed. All other duties as needed or assigned.   Position Requirements Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes, not to include disciplinary or hiring decisions. Education: High School diploma or GED required. Experience: 2-3 years Production experience preferred with consistent work history. Knowledge & Skills: Must have good communication skills; maintain an organized work area, attention to detail, decision-making skills, multi-tasking abilities, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment/Physical Demands Uniform: Associates will be issued and required to wear a standard uniform in accordance with the company’s dress code policy.
