Description

The IT Helpdesk Associate will directly assist our IT Support Manager with daily operational functions such as providing employee and customer IT support or troubleshooting remotely and in-person, managing the IT ServiceDesk tickets and feedback, and setting up/updating employee laptops.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
  • Provide in-person or remote training to end user
  • Monitor and maintain IT web-based ServiceDesk system and IT support inbound phone calls
  • Revise IT documentation, training manual, and help streamline IT processes
  • Perform remote technical troubleshooting with end users
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
  • Create, set up, and update laptops' Windows 10 images
  • Meet with new hires to hand over new laptop and provide a brief training
  • Work with VinFast Vietnam IT team to troubleshoot user account issues
  • Direct unresolved issues to IT Team for review
  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services
  • Record events and problems and their resolution on new IT ServiceDesk system
  • Follow-up and update customer status and information
  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience with IT helpdesk support
  • Experience in a start-up environment is a plus
  • Familiar with users’ creation/modification in AD
  • Familiar with System Imaging Solution (ex: Acronis) to Setup Windows 10 on PC/Laptops
  • Highly motivated team player
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to travel to various VinFast locations
  • Must be able to lift 30-50lbs if required
  • Salesforce and SAP experience is a plus
  • Speaking Vietnamese as a secondary language is a plus
