About the Organization  
Description
  • Manages and works with the Engineering Team to develop manufacturing processes by studying requirements; researching, designing, modifying, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
  • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Designs and builds tools and fixtures that assist with production.
  • Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
  • Communicates with vendors to ensure the best and cost-effective equipment is chosen for the project.
  • Develops R&D tooling and machining operations to assist the production line.
  • Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
  • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Utilizes SolidWorks for engineering projects.
  • Provides manufacturing engineering information to management and teammates by answering questions and requests.
  • Performs machine maintenance, diagnostics and repairs; when necessary, coordinates with vendors to perform maintenance and repair services.
  • Completes design and development projects, and trains others on the processes.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing goals.
  • Other job-related duties.
 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 5+ Years’ Related Experience and Training
  • Background in Firearms or Related Industry Preferred
  • Manual Machining Experience
