Our History

eMDs was founded in 1996 by David Winn, MD, a board-certified family practice physician with a very strong business background who understood the value of having an integrated practice management system which helped physicians focus on patients while optimizing practice financials. Dr. Winn was dissatisfied with offerings on the market, and set out to create his own. The eMDs clinic was first implemented in 1998. Using our own practice management system meant we fully understood what it takes to create the perfect EHR system and why the company built our reputation upon being a highly usable system.

Many years later, we've retained the same values from our early days. We are dedicated to building the best integrated EHR and RCM systems and services. We focus on listening to our customers. And most importantly, we focus on making the practice of medicine enjoyable and fulfilling.

Summary of Job
 
Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for developing and managing the sales within their defined geographical region. This is a quota carrying position with responsibility to drive between $3 million and $5 million in annualized revenue across the product lines offered by eMDs. This includes but is not limited to EHR/PMS Software, Revenue Cycle Management, SaaS offerings, and wholesale business partner relationships.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 
• Drive sales within their territory to reach quota.
• Represent eMDs and all eMDS products/services in a productive manner to the large-sized physician market and potential business partners.
• Implement business and marketing initiatives to drive quota achievement.
• Ensure adherence to all company guidelines.
• Travel within assigned territory and/or for industry events.
• Various other activities as requested by management.
• Work independently to achieve required sales results.
 
 
 
Position Requirements
Qualifications
 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required including computer skills/level.
 
General Office Duties, including Microsoft Office Applications (Work, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
10+ years of previous sales experience required
At least 8 years sales success (defined as meeting/exceeding quota) preferred
Experience in developing and implementing business sales strategies
Robust knowledge of EHR, PMS, other Healthcare Clinical applications and/or RCM experience.
Robust knowledge of the Healthcare IT industry.
Experience in uncovering and managing strategic business partner relationships.
Having a vast knowledge and contacts within the Enterprise space.
Able to handle a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking.
General knowledge of SalesForce or other CRM experience preferred.
A dynamic positive personality with strong interpersonal skills.
Detailed oriented.
 
Education and/or Experience
 
Bachelor’s Degree with 10-15 years equivalent sales experience.
Medical Industry sales or Healthcare Technology required.
 
Language Skills
 
Employees are required to speak, read and write English
 
Physical Demands / Work Environment
 
All employees must be able to lift 50lbs

Must be willing to travel 50% of the time.
