Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Working outside loading steel onto rollers of machine with a overhead crane
· Work under a Shop Supervisor and with shop team members using applied practices
· Practice safe, thorough, and positive work habits
· Use basic math skills to calculate dimensions and weights
· Load and unload steel plate, pipe, rods, and other steel parts using outside overhead bridge crane
· Load and unload conveyor rollers feeding material into a shot blasting machine
· Using overhead bridge cranes to move material around
· Use proper rigging techniques to safely move material
· Able to perform machine maintenance on shot blasting machine
