Share Email Opening Title Senior Credit Analyst – Mid-ticket Underwriting  Category Credit and Collection   Description The core responsibility of the Senior Credit Analyst - Mid-ticket Underwriting encompasses the entire Transaction execution process for each Equipment financing request resulting in an Exposure in excess of $500K, working cooperatively with Originations and any other relevant Department. This responsibility includes underwriting and presenting in an effective, concise manner all Mid-ticket Exposures; providing assistance in closing Transactions with non-standard requirements; and ensuring an overall organized, timely and responsive Mid-ticket Transaction management process. The Senior Credit Analyst - Mid-Ticket Underwriting will also be occasionally involved in the Flow Underwriting Queue, to both remain fluent in this activity and assist the other Underwriters in handling surges in the Credit Decisioning Queue, as well as in ad hoc projects related to business development. Underwriting Underwrite all Mid-ticket equipment financing requests (Exposures in excess of $500K) across a wide variety of industries, markets and Equipment types: gather the Credit Files, perform Customer due diligence and prepare the Credit Underwriting Memo, financial analysis and any additional presentation materials. In every Transaction, identify salient underwriting issues within the following areas and present them to the Credit Committee in a clear, concise and accurate manner, both in writing and verbally: Qualitative: Customer's competitive position, business and operating model, management and ownership depth, key strengths and weaknesses, impact of industry trends, etc. Financial: historical and, if applicable, projected financial trends and performance, cost structure, financial ratio analysis, trends and outliers, etc. Equipment: financed amount vs. market price, depreciation trends, remarketing costs and value. Guide and assist Originators in obtaining Customer information in an efficient and effective manner; provide regular and timely feedback on the underwriting status of each Transaction. Assist the Docs & Funding Department to complete any non-standard aspect of a Transaction. Share responsibility with the Originator to manage and close the highest possible number of Transactions, with pricing, terms and conditions mutually acceptable by AmurEF and Customer. As needed, decision accurately and consistently, in accordance with the Credit Policies, Flow Transactions up to the applicable Credit Authority to remain fluent in the process and contribute to the fluidity of the Credit Decisioning Queue. Credit Process Management Together with all other relevant Departments (e.g., IT, Credit Processing and Docs & Funding), identify and implement process improvement opportunities aimed at reducing turnaround times and increasing accuracy and relevance of the Mid-ticket Credit Decisioning process. Propose modifications to the Credit Policies based upon internal feedback, market developments and trends observed during daily activities.
