For more information about ProMedica senior care services, please visit www.promedicaseniorcare.org.   Specific Job Detail $4,000 Sign On Bonus   Sign-on Bonus 4,000  Description $4,000 Sign on Bonus.  Heartland Hospice is part of the HCR ManorCare/ProMedica family, a leading provider of home health care, hospice care, skilled nursing, memory care and post-acute care.  We are currently searching for full-time Certified Nursing Assistants to visit our patient in their homes.  We care for patients in their homes on the east side of Lake Winnebago to include Manitowoc, Howards Grove, Two Rivers, and the surrounding areas (Calumet and Sheboygan Counties) and the Wests side to include Winnebago County, E Green Lake and E Fond du Lac counties. You would not be traveling this entire area but rather on one side of Lake Winnebago and where you are closest to.   Mileage reimbursement and paid travel time between patients is provided.  Certified Nursing Assistants provide basic nursing care to patients within the scope of the nursing assistant responsibilities and perform basic nursing procedures to promote patient comfort and support under the direction of the nurse supervisor. Be a part of the team leading the nation in healthcare.     Educational Requirements Minimum of one year experience as a Hospice Aide, or is currently enrolled as a nursing student who has had a minimum of 6 months clinical experience, or has completed a Hospice Aide training program or a certified, state tested nursing assistant (or completion of PCA course in Florida), as allowable under state specific guidelines.   Position Requirements Ability to accurately take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Ability to accurately observe, report and document changes in the patient. Ability to recognize the needs of the patient and family. Ability to develop and maintain rapport with patients and families.
