Email Opening Title Development Engineer  Description Assist in the development of both new products for Kulite catalog and process improvements to existing Kulite product lines.  Design and prototyping of physical parts and electrical circuits with an emphasis on mechanical design, the experimental method, and design for manufacturing. Perform all other duties as assigned. BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Interdisciplinary Engineering, Physics or a related discipline.  Experience generating Matlab code. Experience in the drafting of mechanical parts for manufacturing by conventional machining and additive manufacturing methods.  Have an understanding of analog instrumentation, including RLC circuits, instrumentation amplifiers and the practical design of electrical systems for industrial research.  Have an intuitive grasp on second-order dynamic systems, including concepts such a Q factor, damping, etc.  Be able to apply those concepts to physical systems in areas such as acoustics, mechanics and circuit design.  Be prepared to general Matlab code to perform a wide variety of functions in the areas of data acquisition and data analysis.  Have a basic understanding of acoustics and Fourier transforms.   Position Requirements BS in Engineering - Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Engineering related discipline.
