Sales Manager -WI/MN

LaForce is one of the largest distributors of commercial door opening products, solutions and services in the United States.  We have an exciting leadership opportunity for a Sales Manager based out of our Menomonee Falls location.  

This position will be responsible for the continued development of our sales team, customer relations, and business strategy to ultimately meet or exceed sales budgets. This position provides leadership to our sales teams in Milwaukee, Madison, Appleton, Green Bay and Minneapolis. 

Our Contract Sales Team works closely with the areas commercial construction general contractors to successfully win bids by providing solutions for the project that includes doors, frames, hardware, keying, security/access control, pre-installation and specialty products.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve goals; analyzing market trends
  • Develop sales team through effective coaching, training, ride-alongs, communication and discipline as needed
  • Monitor profitability of completed jobs and progress of on-going projects to maximize sales opportunities and minimize cost
  • Develop and deepen customer relations in the market with new and existing customers.
  • Represent the company at customer and industry functions
  • Drive continuous improvement throughout the organization



  • Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience with 3-5 years of sales management experience required
  • Experience in the construction industry a plus but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or sales/marketing preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Strong, organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills required
  • Strong computer skills required, experience with AX a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
