Starting Pay: $23.1395 Hourly ($48,130)

After 1st Year: $24.6848 Hourly ($51,344)

After 2nd Year: $26.5256 Hourly ($55,173)

After 3rd Year: $29.8967 Hourly ($62,185)

After 4th Year: $30.8759 Hourly ($64,222)

After 5th Year: $31.9203 Hourly ($66,394)

After 6th Year: $32.9974 Hourly ($68,635)

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Performs professional duties related to staff development and promoting Genesee County’s organizational development platform; providing opportunities for professional development and cultivating an environment of cultural competency through initiatives, programs and training; Works under the direction of the Human Resources and Labor Relations Director performs related duties as required.

STATEMENT OF TASKS:

Manages County’s organizational develop platform including: identifying needs and best methods in which to meet those needs;

Leads county-wide program development efforts including the creation and implementation of training opportunities for professional development ensuring a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion;

Recommends and administers county-wide organizational development standards;

Manages in-house training programs based on needs assessment and county sponsored initiatives, providing training opportunities to all County departments;

Develops comprehensive training programs that develop skills and competencies of employees at all levels;

Coordinates with external partners and organizations to promote and support learning initiatives of the Board of Commissioners;

Develops and promotes opportunities for cultural competency which create a welcoming environment for internal and external shareholders;

Works closely with and supports the DEI committee supporting initiatives of diversity, equity and inclusion;

Develops course content, related materials and activities for use in classroom settings;

Provides classroom instruction in a broad variety of areas;

Coordinates the use of outside trainers, consultants and programs, which provide training opportunities that cannot be accomplished in-house;

Assists in the advancement of affinity groups in the community and within Genesee County;

Develops and maintains required records and reports;
