Project Manager - Security Systems

Electronic Security Systems powered by LaForce, has an opportunity for a Security Integration Project Manager to work with our sales staff in direct sales and promotion of electrified hardware, access control and security integration products and solutions for commercial customers.

Major Responsibilities

  • Proactively project manage and coordinate with customers, vendors, installers, sales staff, subcontractors and general contractors on projects, including troubleshooting when necessary
  • Assist sales with knowledge and expertise to develop customer solutions.
  • Assist sales staff in quoting pricing and credit terms, as well as prepare sales contracts for orders obtained
  • Display or demonstrate product, using samples or catalog, and emphasize pertinent features
  • Assist and train personnel on access control products, services and methods, including basic Electronic Access Control troubleshooting
  • Assist in preparing floor plans and wire diagrams for jobs sold using Bluebeam
  • Attend regional trade shows and/or vendor training seminars to stay informed of industry trends and practices, as well as to promote LaForce Security Integration


  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Electronic Security Associations (ESA), certifications or equivalent experience/certification beneficial
  • Product certifications in Access Control and CCTV systems beneficial
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • General understanding of low voltage electrical, computer networking and mechanical door hardware concepts is required
  • Valid Driver's License and a good driving record
