ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review items for import/export and ensure compliance with US and other International Trade Compliance Regulations.
Manage export license applications and work with various US Government agencies to ensure proper licenses are in place or can be obtained.
Manage the Customs process and ensure goods are cleared from Customs in a timely manner.
Support internal assessments and audits of import/export activities and assure proper reporting of results.
Facilitate implementation of audit findings of import/export activities to correct any shortcomings.
Work with the Engineering team to assign Schedule B/HTS codes to Extant’s portfolio of products.
Be the subject matter expert on International Trade Compliance. Work closely with the Operations and Business teams to ensure customer needs are being met by having proper classifications, licenses, and compliance with regulations in place.
Support compliance initiatives in regard to being a contractor for the United States Government, including, but not limited to, assisting with Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) uploads, Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) tracking, and filing various USG reports.
Lead internal cross-functional teams to develop Commerciality packages for all products aligned with Booking opportunities and Sales goals.

MINUMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, plus 2-5 years direct industry experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous experience in International Trade Compliance a plus
