Summary of Essential Functions: Strong clinical assessment skills, diagnostic abilities, and case management skills. Sound judgement, effective communication and time management skills are required.   Conducts intake assessments for clients seeking services related to mental health, substance use, or developmental needs. Provides crisis stabilization and emergency services as needed. Conducts mental health and substance abuse evaluations, including the evaluation of treatment needs, and develops treatment plans. Provides client orientation and incorporates crisis intervention and stabilization as needed. Demonstrates knowledge and skills in the areas of crisis and counseling interventions, case management, treatment of co-occurring disorders, treatment, and discharge planning.   Position Requirements Qualifications: Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field. LPC- or LCSW-eligible. Preferred Qualifications Current LCSW, LPC, LSATP, or CSAC certification. Valley Community Services Board is an equal employment opportunity employer.
