Job Summary:

The Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing software and business processes to drive efficient end user solutions. Analyst will serve as liaison between business operations and technology group to understand, analyze, and document business and technical requirements. Successful analyst will work alongside users in order to fully understand existing systems to identify, propose, and implement potential areas of improvement. Analyst must be self-driven, with the capacity to lead IT projects though clear communication of technical and business concepts.

Job Duties:

  • Aids in analyzing current and potential software needs
  • Key contributor to software solution implementations and system integration projects
  • Performs analysis of existing business systems, applications, and functions, and proactively identifies and suggests improvements
  • Collaborates with end users to identify, document, and communicate business needs and provides IT solutions
  • Translates business requirements and user stories into technical specifications to improve/enhance business processes
  • Writes and maintains documents including procedures, work instructions, and software user guides for supported software systems
  • Identifies improvement opportunities with ability to execute process enhancements
  • Conducts presentations and user training on existing and new systems
  • Conducts presentations and user training on existing and new systems
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum management tools
  • Works individually as well as in a team environment
  • Managers incoming Help Desk tickets and assists end users with software troubleshooting
  • Administrator of software systems including ERP, CRM and SharePoint

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Understanding of software development methodologies and organized approaches to system development
  • Leadership qualities, including ability to facilitate technical discussions
  • Experience with workflow analysis
  • Diagram process flows
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to bridge the gap between business and technology
  • Proficient in SQL and report writing

Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical experience

Compensation: Salaried Position Based on Experience

Duration of Employment: Full Time

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for 6 hours at a time.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
